Notice of Comment Period and Opportunity for Public Hearing
Proposed PM2.5 State Implementation Plan Modification
Notice is hereby given that the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Bureau will receive public comments on the addition of a NOx budget to the Fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5) National Ambient Air Quality Standards State Implementation Plan for the Tennessee portion of the Chattanooga, Tennessee-Georgia PM2.5 Nonattainment Area. Any person may request a public hearing on this matter.
The PM2.5 SIP is being modified to include a NOx Budget for transportation. A transportation NOx budget of 5,861.12 tons per year is being proposed for the SIP.
The proposed materials will be available for review at the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Bureau (the Bureau), 6125 Preservation Drive, Chattanooga, Tennessee, beginning February 19, 2010 from 8 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays or online at www.pollutionsolution.org.
Written comments may be submitted between February 19 and March 23, 2010, to the Director, Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Bureau, 6125 Preservation Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416-3638. Comments must be received by noon on March 23, 2010.
