Notice is hereby given that the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Board will receive public comments upon the application for the installation of the following air pollutant sources in Hamilton County, TN.
Chattanooga Gas Company has proposed to install a new emergency-generator natural gas engine at 3401 North Hawthorne Street in Chattanooga, TN. Air pollutant emissions from this engine are estimated to be no more than 0.12 pound/hour and 0.006 ton/yr of nitrogen oxides, 2.9 pounds/hour and 0.145 ton/year of carbon monoxide, 1.3 pounds/hour and 0.065 ton/year of volatile organic compounds, 0.12 pound/hour and 0.006 ton/year of particulate matter, and 0.0036 pound/hour and 0.0002 ton/year of sulfur oxides.
